About Us

Our Focus

Freedom On The Fly combines the tranquility of fly fishing with the camaraderie among military veterans. Our organization is committed to supporting all veterans who have served our nation, with a focus on those who have become disabled during their service.

By embracing fly fishing’s peaceful, reflective nature, we provide a sanctuary for veterans to reconnect, find solace, and rediscover a sense of belonging within a community that understands the depth of their experiences.

About Us

All Freedom On The Fly board members and staff are strictly volunteers. They are driven by their passion for fly fishing and their commitment to serving the veterans who have sacrificed for our country. They are eager to share their knowledge and experience.

We understand that veterans face many challenges in their day-to-day lives, and we believe that fly fishing can provide them with a much-needed break from these challenges. Our fly-fishing activities are designed to help our veterans relax and unwind in the tranquil beauty of nature.

TESTIMONIALS

What Vets Are Saying…

I’ve been privileged to be part of an organization dedicated to vets, as well as giving back to the community.  The activities around fly fishing are just the cherry on top!  This group of men and women is an example of the best of the best.  I’m honored to be part of this organization.
