Freedom On The Fly is where the serenity of fly fishing meets the spirit of camaraderie among military veterans. Our organization is dedicated to serving those who have served our nation, both disabled and non-disabled veterans. By embracing the peaceful, reflective nature of fly fishing, we provide a sanctuary for veterans to reconnect, find solace, and rediscover a sense of belonging within a community that understands the depth of their experiences.
Events
We host monthly events and sponsor fly-fishing outings across the state of Texas. We are fortunate to have access to beautiful facilities on the San Marcos River with plenty of fishing opportunities on the river and its stocked lake.
One of the essential benefits of participating in events and outings with other Veterans is the sense of camaraderie that it fosters by providing an opportunity to connect with others who have had similar experiences. The shared bond of military service reminds them that they are not alone and that there is a community that understands and supports them.
